Leicester Glass has a long history of manufacturing, supplying and installing
mirrors. We carry large stocks of mirrors sheets in thickness 2, 3, 4 and 6mm. We continue to supply some stock to traders however the bulk of our mirrors are cut to client's requirements. We have in-house processing facilities, which allow us to offer prompt service to clients requiring, polished or miter beveled edgework, drilling etc. Beveled edgework is also available and mirrors can have designs blasted onto their face. A relatively new innovation is heated pads. These are electrically charged, specially designed pads that bond to the reverse side of client's mirrors. The heating effect prevents or helps remove condensation that may form on mirrors and are especially useful in bathrooms. In stock, we carry a safety backing material which has been tested and achieved a pass of class B & C to BS 6206. This is an addition we offer to clients for mirrors that are to be located in areas with potentially high hazard ratings. As well as supplying mirrors Leicester Glass offers a comprehensive fixing service. Clients considering our complete supply and fix service will, dependent on the circumstances, will be offered a free survey and quotation. We also offer our clients a range of fixings which compliment our mirror sales. Until 1995 we had the best showroom of framed mirrors in the country.
