Leicester Glass supplies and supplies and installs aluminium secondary glazing, manufactured by Season Master Windows Limited. Our secondarys can be specified in various styles to suit clients needs. We offer fixed and lift out panels, vertical and horizontal sliding systems and hinged options. Horizontal sliders can be two or more paneled. Vertical sliders can have balancing springs to control their fall, or be conventional 'latch locking'. Secondary glazing is a particularly efficient means of insulating fenestration. Normally, there is a substantial air space between the primary glazing system and our secondary glazing system. This not only serves as an excellent barrier against heat loss but it also serves to significantly reduce noise through the window/door. Our secondary frames have a white powder coat finish as a standard. We also offer brown paint finish and mill finished ali from stock. Many other finishes are available to order. Our secondary glazing can incorporate obscure glass, safety glass and/or security glass as well as conventional float. Our standard system incorporates an 'odd-leg' outer frame style. A more robust 'equal-leg' system is also available. We offer a free survey and quotation to all clients requiring installation
